Because he doesn't ship in a new team every year like Cal does. This year he had a senior, two juniors (three before Sulaimon dismissal), and a sophomore who all contributed.
Is he not suppose to recruit elite talent or is he just suppose to let them go to other schools he'll be playing in March? Should he tell the NBA not to draft them or tell the players not to accept millions of guaranteed money?
I get what you're saying and I hate how Cal ships new teams in every year, but the game has changed and younger players are more sought after by the NBA. K has perfected the system by mixing a good group of veterans around superstar freshman.

Im just saying that there is a pretty good likelihood that they dont get good recruits and then coach rat face will have a crap season.
