We know and as an Oilers fan, I don't like it.
1. We are surprised by this news.
2. We’d have taken you for a musical theatre or ballet aficionado.

I like to play both but would rather watch paint dry over watching either of those, going to a PGA event live is boring af to me to, except for the beer tents

irl it's not as fast of a game as tv makes it appear, fast paced, yes

The person who famously called baseball "gay ballet" was former New York Yankees player, Bill Lee.

fast paced as in fewer game stoppages, tv tries to make it look like everyone is skating at 150kph continuously

Did you watch the four nations cup first round game between US and Canada?

what I enjoy seeing is that those guys can, and do, make just as shitty of shots occasionally as I do, they just make less of them

nah, going to Winter Olympics next year and I think one of the events my daughter was able to get tickets for is hockey, not positive on that though

It was the fastest hockey game ever, absolutely awesome to watch on TV. Can't even imagine it in person.
Not sure what hockey games you've been to, but it's extremely fast when you get two good teams together, especially if it's a playoff game.
Sitting up higher you may not be able to appreciate it much, but sit on the glass or close, and it's wild.

guess I should give it another chance, I've been to a ton of minor league hockey games and only a handful of Stars games

If you get US vs Canada hockey tickets for the Olympics (assuming they play), that would be so much fun to attend in person.

now that I'd love to see, my daughter takes care of all that but from what I gather it's kind of like a combination of the draft and the lottery when it comes to picking what events are available when it's your turn to pick events, we went to the summer Olympics last August and it was pretty awesome
