This is the more sports board. If it is purely an LSU thing, you should've posted on the Tiger Rant.

My point is there are no threads for home run leagers or sb leaders. It just seems silly.
So now the More Sports Board is all sports except LSU? If you wanted to post something about your alma mater and an alumnus from there that was lighting shite on fire, I don't think anyone else would have a problem with it.

Plus, I'm above posting on the damn Tiger Rant, bro.

You do realize Houston is in the AL right?

Thanks for clearing up any confusion about who does in fact lead the NL batting race.

I think you're the one who's confused.

Which is at least somewhat understandable, since the Astros were NL for almost 50 years or so.

Why is this an Altuve vs. LeMahieu thread? This is NL vs. AL...and LeMahieu isn't even in the MVP conversation, Altuve is. This isn't about MVP...this is about LeMahieu's Gold Glove and NL Batting Title chase.

It's Harry Caray's fault. Somehow.

Derp. Between the Altuve talk and Houston being in the NL for decades I completely forgot.

However, LeMahieu is the batting average leader in all of MLB, so my post still makes sense.

I loved his play at LSU.

I hope he wins the batting title.

I have no idea if he wins gold glove.

Anyone know how the gold glove competition stacks up?

I appreciate the home and away stats. Rockies have had others lead league and then fall into good-but-not-great territory when they signed FA deals elsewhere.

Still, make hay while the sun shines, plus a gold glove at 2nd, if/when he wins it, has no home field component.

Unreal the year Dozier is having. Hit #42 last night. Meanwhile Altuve has struggled big time the last month. May cost him the MVP and the Astros a wild card

I don't see this as a surprise at all considering how good DJ was for us.

I have stood by the sentiment DJ hads been criminally underrated on this site.
