Let's hope this goes exactly as 2010 went:

-Win Games 1 and 2 on the road against the consensus best team in the league in a dome
-Lose a winnable Game 3 at home
-Get blown out in Game 4
-Have to go back on the road in Game 5 to face young rising star black pitcher
-Throwing pitcher in Game 5 acquired at trade deadline who has postseason experience with the Phillies

Lol it's only happened twice in the history of baseball. If we pull it off today it will be the third time.

I got last minute tickets a few days ago. Sort of had a feeling it would get ugly early if we were going to lose. Sure enough, Holland came out to play batting practice. The mass exodus in the 7th was ugly. A bunch of folks singing the chorus to "The Gambler" on their way out. Oh well. The seats were pretty fricking good.

Holland had pitched like shite all September. Lewis should have started.

After Holland gave up his 2nd home run he was laughing on the mound. Should have pulled him then

Saw that. And you're right. Lewis did a solid job in the middle innings.

Roof is closed. Jays fans are salty, but apparently it's tougher to close in cooler weather and they don't have a lot of drainage if it starts raining.

That is how 2010 went, especially the last one:

Throwing pitcher in Game 5 acquired at trade deadline who has postseason experience with the Phillies and who didn't impress me one bit during the regular season (I wasn't that impressed with Cliff Lee in 2010 and watching Hamels in person during 2015 I'm not impressed with him either)

Hopefully, though, the result will be the same. (The Rangers had one of the best road records in MLB this year so that's a plus.)

This, I'll be happy for either KC or Stros to send these douchecanoes home if we can't do it

Toronto has not earned any new fans in this series, that's for damn sure.

I really expect the Jays' collective assholes to tighten up today. Hamels will pitch well, and Toronto will feel the weight of all-in as the game progresses.

I think the Jays would be better off playing on the road.
