why in the hell didn't Seattle bunt right there?

runner on first with nobody out, and the bum-arse, 9 hole hitter is allowed to swing for the fences and easily strike out

just stupid baseball decisions being made. they should have bunted him to second for the top of the lineup.

That’s just bad commentary from Smoltz.

Spinning out of a geared up fastball where your elbow drops just a bit and it’s going up and in.

Not saying that’s what happened, but there isn’t simply NO reason do ever miss up there.

And the next pitch Springer was cooked with another inside fastball. It’s not that dramatic. Get in the box, fans shut up, and Smoltz be better.
