Al is way past his prime but I still like him because he has that old man, "I'll say whatever I want" attitude.
He is the only announcer that will harp on bad officiating and not just tow the NFL line.
When you get a low scoring terrible Thursday game, he will talk shite about how bad the football is.
It's kind of refreshing.

Verne and Gary in their prime on CBS calling SEC games were the best.
2007 Florida @ LSU was incredible and they added to it.

They really aren’t that bad. If it’s really that bad to you, then I assume you think most sport call teams are bad.
