I wouldn't go so far as to call you a bad human being per se but your views on this issue are extremely ignorant.

You calling someone's views ignorant when you are intolerant of opposing opinion.

You can't make this shite up

I guess we should start allowing brother and sister or dad and daughter to get married. I mean, it's their right if they love each other!

Taken as you posted, the current marriage definition would also allow siblings to marry as long as they are of different genders. So, you may want to refine your definition.

Could you define what you mean by consistency? Just as you would not want to read sibling marriages into your definition of marriage, accepting the two people definition does not force someone to accept all types of marriage. There are other important considerations, such as consent or the ability to consent, that would be important to read into that definition.

Show me where I have said you aren't allowed to have your opinion or that you should be denied equal protection under the law because of your beliefs.

Calling people a name like "bigot" really describes your tolerance of opposing opinion.

I am just expressing my opinion of your opinion

Unlike you, i am not advocating a restriction of your treatment under the law

Surely you're smart enough to see the difference

Well, you are a prejudiced bigot. He isn't forced to tolerate your intolerance, just as other people aren't forced to live their lives the way rednecks like you would want them to.

Love the argument that's been made in this thread. You pro gay marriage people are also intolerant because you're being intolerant of the intolerant!!!

I believe the word you were going for is "prejudicial," and yes, I am openly prejudicial against those that desire to dictate how others live their lives.

Hatred? Who here "hates" gays or has said anything like that. It's your hatred that angers you so much about this issue.

I don't think for a minute that any kid chooses to be attracted to their same sex. That's not something someone would do. However, letting a sexual desire dominate your lifestyle is a choice, and the reason that there is so much support for homosexuals (who make up 3% of the population) isn't because this country is evolving. Actually evolution would argue against that. The reason that people support homosexuals so much is because they are leading the charge for living your life the way you want to with no moral obligation. People like you, for whatever reason, feel threatened by Christians and other people of faith. You feel like you are being "judged" so you go on the offensive. Deep down, you know that there will be some accountability after this life and you hate that. The more people that think like you, the more comfortable you feel...yet you are not tolerant for anyone who submits their life to the belief in a higher power because its not something you're comfortable with.

What Peterson said didn't have anything to do with "hate". That's a tired argument. You are pretty much the only one here filled with hate. Let it go, bro.

Who gives a shite about what anyone says? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and beliefs. Those who support gay marriage will bash him and I have no doubt he will catch some heat about this, which in my mind is total bullshite.
