Being a life long Yankees fan, I’m loving what their doing.
With that being said I fully expect Judge and Stanton to both be out 30 games with calf issues.
Give me one year where they stay healthy but have alternating cold spells and both hit 40 hrs batting close to .290.
Just wondering, what makes you a Yankees fan? I don't like the Yankees, but I love Aaron Judge and I believe that he will be the face of MLB. Maybe if Trout comes to NY, and as long as those guys are healthy for the playoffs, and more importantly, the pitching is doing as well as they are, they should compete for a WS. If I'm a Yankees fan, anything less than an AL East title and a WS appearance would be not meeting expectations. This is the sixth year with this core, and they have added pieces like Cole, Stanton, Rizzo, and Chapman, so they should be getting to a WS soon.

Grew up in Beaumont Texas and my favorite players where George Brett, Nolan Ryan, Don Mattingly. Then as I got older my favorite players where Ken Griffey and Frank Thomas. Somewhere in between George Brett, Ryan and Donnie Baseball my dad told me my Grandmother was a huge Yankees fan. She died around 81 the year I was born and she liked the Yankees.
I think my grandmother was crushing hard on Ron Guidry

Judge blows up Gas Can Watkins (everyone is a gas can in Baltimore) with a double and a homer (should have been two homers). Camden Yards is the house that Judge built. He is slugging. 669, and around .800 over his last 20-22 games. Unreal. I don't think he slugs .800 for the whole year, but he could definitely do .700 or .750 with 60-65 homers. The best hitter in baseball is batting over .300 with homers about once every eight at bats. If he stays healthy, I fully expect him to surpass his rookie #'s of 52 home runs. He might have 3 or 4 more before this series is over, and could have 20 or more by the end of May (they get this series with the Orioles, then the White Sox, and they get to play the Orioles again before the end of May). Schedule will get tougher after the White Sox and Orioles series. I still think the Yankees can still be 34-10 by the end of the Orioles series (losing once in the next nine games, including tonight).

Yup. Three hits going a combined 1,231 feet. Can he get three or four? If Baltimore is smart, they won't pitch to him again tonight, but they have already hung three sliders against him. He is slugging .695 (!). He's gonna reach Barry Bonds type #'s if he keeps this up.

In his last 20.5 games, Judge has 29/84, with 13 homers, and three doubles (on pace for 103 HR's). He is slugging .835 in his last 20.5 games (71 total bases in 84 at bats). He is slashing .345/.397/.835 for an OPS of 1.233 in those games. This does not count the last at-bat where he grounded out. Barry Bonds slugged over .800 two different seasons, and .799 in anther.

Updated #'s:
For Season: .315/.384/.692 with 1.076 OPS (second to Trout.....for now) - OPS improved by .075 in this game alone. 14 homers.
In last 21 games: .349/.411/.837 - OPS is 1.248 with 13 home runs. Legendary stuff here.
13 Homers, 9 walks, and three doubles. Add in a Sac Fly as well.

17 Homeruns, and 16 in his last 26 games. Of course he now has 32 homers in 79 games against the Orioles. He is on a crazy pace; the schedule gets harder and they don't get to play the Orioles much after this week, but he is far and above the best hitter over the first quarter of the season.

One thing is for sure…….. Judge will break the record for “Fastest player to 20 HRs in a season”. Set by Cody Belanger (June 20?)

Judge has 17 in 40 games. This means he needs to hit 3 in the next 10 to break the record (Bellinger, 51). He could be the fastest to 30 (79 is the record). Simply amazing.

MLB already has the MVP award shined up for Tim Anderson

If he can stay healthy, he could get 60 or more. If any pitch misses, he’s hitting it out. We’re talking historic production right now. Meanwhile, the Yankee pitching is......unreal. I know Detroit is trash but Judge is doing this to everyone. He’s on pace for 65 homers.

It helps he plays in a little league park and the Yankees are known for cheating their arse off.
Posted on 6/4/22 at 2:15 pm to StroKat
Astros fan accusing others of cheating? That’s rich.

The Yankees started the cheating in 2015 and have yet to make it to a WS. That’s got to hurt

So Judge has hit 27 homers in 67 games, and 26 in 54. Judge is about to feast on the Astros. He needs 3 homers in the next 11 games to become the fastest player to hit 30 homeruns to begin the season. Simply amazing. Best power hitter, best outfielder, and above average base running skills. Yankees might win 115-120 games this season and Judge might flirt with the all-time homers record. MVP indeed.
ETA - single-season record for homers (not career)
