No, they know he as well as one of his accomplices had 2 Seperate Guns that they saw them both holding on surveillance tape. Those guns were not in the house though when search warrants were executed

I doubt the dumbass was smart enough to know that the only part of the security system he needed to destroy was the physical drives. He probably busted the case to shite and left the hard drive fully intact inside. You need to beat the hell out of a hard drive to shatter the disks. We used to do it all the time for data security reasons.
