Correct, but in the article's subtitle, the author says "more kids die playing football than you know." That's a sensational (and thinly veiled) spin to capitalize on all the hysteria surrounding CTE.

I completely agree with not letn them just do what they want. But football is a game, look how may people across US play, and how many have died as a result of it. The odds are slim. Again, that is ur decision as a parent. Me as a parent will let my kid decide if he wants to play any sport. Im not pushn it down his throat, but if he comes n wants to play football, tennis, basketball, whatever im not saying now. Its a freaking game.

Either way, the cte scare is small in grand scheme of things. But that doesnt matter, that is your choice as a parent. Im not saying its wrong, but i disagree. Everyone is different when raising children
