Why tf would they drop? They held Louisville to 3 points over the last 3 quarters. Offense struggled but it was opening game on the road, and still put up 35.

Good showing by Louisville given where they were last year. Not the worst showing by Notre Dame, but didn’t cover the spread against a team they held a significant talent advantage against and won the TO margin against (+2).

I thought we played well overall. We are so undersized and Notre Dame finally wore us down in the later part of the game. I agree with Herbstreit that I think we can get to a bowl. I saw much improvement. Notre Dame is fine they will get better
