I don’t get how UF doesn’t have a bigger NIL fund. UF has abundant boosters with deep pockets and a wealth of football alum as well as being a fairly prestigious academic institution. What’s wrong here?

I called this long ago when NIL came around - we are just not the type of fan base that thinks you should have to bribe players to come to your school. UF is not going to do well with NIL.

The one rule the NCAA has pretended to have about NIL is that it can’t be an enticement to attend a school or be tied to attending a certain school.
The NCAA either needs to do something now or completely divest themselves from anything football related.
