Deranged? He said he played college tennis. If he is telling the truth he 100% would already be an acquaintance of mine , if not an actual friend

1. Nothing I have said would screw over a program
2. I would happily see wake be knocked down a peg. Some of the things they have done is not above board IMHO. I am no fan of wake forest tennis

What does not make sense is people that want to enforce ridiculous outdated notions of college football in the “good old days”. Even less so when the reality of the amateur athlete that has not truly existed in college football for the last 40-50 years - all college football programs serious about winning were looking for ways to get money to players so they would come play for their football team.
Furthermore these paragons of virtue (coaches, ADs, etc…) were doing all they could to keep the money from the players while they were cashing in. Now we have this suppressed payment coming due (see House settlement), and some selfish players and unscrupulous agents and hangers-on are trying to cash in. But the real source of the problem we are in comes from those hypocrite coaches and ADs that for the last 40-50 years exploited the players for their own gain.
