Y’all really gotta figure out how these state taxes work for sports
Posted on 3/17/20 at 6:14 pm to wildtigercat93
If you play and away game you pay taxes for that state
Posted on 3/17/20 at 6:15 pm to wildtigercat93
He still plays 8 games/yr in Florida vs. 8-10 games per yr in Mass. That's still a saving of millions.

Massachusetts income tax isn't that bad since they have a flat tax

False. Before the Raiders move this offseason, it was 4-3 in terms of afc teams to nfc teams in states with no income tax.

I don’t understand how no one would wanna live in Florida
Pretty much has everything and would be for sure the best state to live in

You’d think the Chargers would have gotten a closer look. Brand new stadium, huge market. Guess he likes Florida.

No amount of money really makes living in Florida, the armpit of America, any easier though

Well that OLine is going to get him murdered
If he did this 10 years ago he would have been done playing 8 years ago.

He and his wife are worth over half a billion dollars. He doesn't give a shite about a state tax.

5.5% (MA state income tax rate) of 15 million dollars is $825,000. A lot of money to you and me but barely a drop in the bucket to Brady.

The Raiders are about to get a significant bump in pay, that’s every player on the roster that made the move to LV. They go from the highest taxed state to one with no state income tax.
Plus all the league minimum guys will get a sizable bump in pay for another year of service. They also have a chance to earn a playoff bonus.
