I think it’s a good choice. Like Aberg for the Euros a couple of Ryders ago.

Let's just pass on the guy who had the third best season on the PGA Tour and earned his way to the Masters. But we'll take guys with less experience like Bridgeman. Jesus Brandt

Somehow Cantlay makes the team because he's best buddies with Xander his playing partner. Won't matter anyway. USA wins by 4-5 points

Casey Jarvis being left off for old guys like Scott and Taylor is funny but I guess experience is needed for the Internationals

I heard his caddie a couple months back say watch out, it’s clicking for him in training.

I believe he’s been pretty damn on top of his game since. He should be on this team.

I don’t care much for Cantlay, but I must admit he’s playing a lot better lately, and his deliberate slow play rattles opposing players in team competitions.

Take his name away and his history with Xander and there's no way he makes it.

Ryan Gerard the guy who was ranked outside the 200 OWGR just over a year ago. Then finishes 3rd place on the Tour Championship.

I wanted Gerard on the team over both Cantlay and Bridgeman, but cmon man. We both know he did not have the third best season on Tour this year.

Last time I checked, it's where you finished in East Lake.

In a new format where the entire season is wiped out other than the final players. I think Gerard should have made the team but he didn’t have the 3rd best season on tour at all. Are you saying he had a better season than Wyndham and Young, amongst many others?

When was the last time the US lost the Presidents Cup? Haven’t the non-Euros only won this once? Not a huge risk, that said I like Koivun a lot.
