You'd think after the 2nd or 3rd one the other team would just start walking him.

FSU had 24 HR in the 1999 Tournament and McDougal was named Most Outstanding Player at the CWS.

FSU lost, of course, to Miami by 1 run in the Final.

Nowadays another team would've offered him a higher NIL and he would've left mid game

And for all that, he only ended up getting 18 at bats in the MLB.
