Zverev played at a crazy high level today and still got more or less worked over in the last two sets.

Zvev had a chance to put the 30-30 point away. He it a bad soft shot right back to sinner.

Zverev played well, nothing to be ashamed about. Sinner was almost perfect.

Those 2 points by Sinner were something else. How many majors is this dude going to win?

He won’t touch Novak. I don’t think he will play past 32. We shall see. Looney Alcaraz. It’s hard to play at that level every year and stay healthy

Yeah I mean not much else he can do.

A lot. With Alcaraz still not cleared seems unlikely for US Open so idk who could beat him.

I hope not, but Sinner isn't even 25 yet so another 7 years to 32. I'd be surprised if he hangs it up at 32. Alcaraz definitely seems like the kind that doesn't need to get the records. He won all 4 and he's said he doesn't need to prove anything else. That plus the injury could definitely shorten his career.

Absolutely and that's where I could see hum not getting there. But, nobody is going to really win many majors while he's playing. With Carlos out, he can easily win the USO and even with CA back, it's hard not to say Sinner win 2+ a year for a while.

Sinner only has to equal Federer's major tally from this point forward to surpass Djokovic.

On one hand, you could say no one will touch the big three because they were an anomaly and no one else had reached past Sampras' 14 majors before them. On the other, think about how ridiculous their numbers would have been if any of the three had never played. In other words, what if Sinner only has Alcaraz to challenge him, and Alcaraz's career is shortened by injuries?

We're lucky as tennis fans that Sinner has taken the mantle of greatness in the sport. Hope to see Alcaraz back because the epic 5-set grand slam championship matches they've played against eachother have been such a treat.

Yep, that's what I've been saying. Even if Alcaraz is playing, Sinner and he can nearly split the 4 each year. Get 10 years out of Sinner and he's in Joker territory. I know that relies on health, but it isn't outlandish considering their age.
