Daytona is never returning to the 4th. Don’t be shocked if Coronado becomes the 4th of July weekend.

The Facebook mouth breathers are out in full force against road racing and SVG.

I’m laughing at all of those crybabies.

I don’t do facebook or insta. Only X and have never posted just use it to get info.

If anyone notices teams are getting closer to SVG on road. Like I said he wants them to improve and helps them via his track videos. He actually cares to help Nascar likely as a semi payback for spring-boarding his career.

Not disagreeing with you, but I really think most of it is still just how good the Toyota is right now. It's masked a little this week by SVG winning, and Hamlin, Reddick, Wallace having trouble, but look how Gibbs and Bell came through the field. Wasn't just Briscoe with that pace.

Seems no matter the track it's the same story. You get a Larson or Blaney make a show of it early in the day but in stage 3 that Toyota starts eating them up.

I’m not sure they’re catching up as it’s becoming more equipment related. Shane said his car sucked yesterday. And Briscoes car was visibly better.

Shane never got passed on track by anyone. In a bad car.

Oh there’s no doubt in my mind Toyota has a big advantage. And no doubt Nascar knows. My question is Nascar helping them?

Nascar tears cars down during year. They also certify every car. In the past when teams got advantages the info leaked out by Nascar to jeep things close. But its not this year. Some say a backroom deal was made in courtroom after agreeing to settle. Nascar is getting a crapload of money from Toyota. They also want either Denny to win or 23X to win. So are not fixing the advantage Toyota has.

I’m looking forward to the next two weeks for some exciting racing! First time back at Chicagoland and then the excitement of Atlanta at night.

I’m confused. Are you saying having a race far from beach keeps people from vacationing at the beach? So by not having it is better for city?

Yeah. I get tradition. But sometimes tradition makes sense to not continue.

4th of July is big, with or without the race. By moving the race to August they created another big tourist weekend.

Adam Stern
