IMO several reasons:

Indy picks up a ton of F1 viewers who hate the electric car and are boycotting Apple move.

Nascar loses as they have a bad racing Cip car and go Prime for 5 races in middle of season - and have 3 networks thru year. Viewers have to then find races in sub-networks so you have like 7 or so stations.

NOAP and Indycar are winners of these things.

The real reason for the uptick was the leadup of the World Cup game which had millions of viewers.

American F1 fans watch the F1 race in the morning and the Indy race later.

It's not like Indy doesn't have its own battery issues, just ask Scott Dixon

Uptick in what?

Both NOAP and Indycar have been doing great all season long whereas Cup has lost viewers.

World Cup has nothing to do with the trends. It may have added a few but it was not the reason.

They scheduled several of the Indy car races to follow WC games on purpose.

We have no idea what the F1 ratings are, we also don’t know how many people watch Ted Larson

When did season start and when did WC start? Tell me these dates/races that all followed. 1 or 2 at most. Ratings up all year

They knew the schedule and made it to work. Fox did it on purpose. They haven’t hid this fact

I don’t know

I’ve heard on several Indy podcast that this was intentional scheduling by Fox.

Here's the classic stock cars that will compete in this weekend's Historic Sportscar Racing NASCAR Classic presented by Goodyear at Le Mans, France.

And people still think they aren’t cheating. Question to me is Nascar helping or is team doing it with Nascar turning blind eye wink wink nod nod. I think they have a bigger spacer to get more fuel in engine. 1.5 tracks show that extra HP.

Best average running position on 1.5-mile tracks in 2026

Older drivers always do worse with age. So he and Toyota are getting some advantage. Even Ty Gibbs who sucked last 2 years is up there. It also proves how bad Bubba is, getting such advantage and still struggling.

Denny Hamlin has run 958 of the 1,181 laps in the top five this year on 1.5-mile tracks. This is nearly 200 more than any other driver (Tyler Reddick - 767)

Deleted. Was a good fake and even used normal branding. Looks like Ryan Newman is driving the 25 truck that week

Per Fox Sports:

Following the World Cup match, FOX's NHRA coverage from Norwalk garnered 1,468,000 viewers, up 118% vs. last year's telecast (674,000) and good for the 6th-most-watched NHRA event of all time.

You are correct its fake and I deleted it

I posted it at work where I use 5G but not wifi. Things are slower to load and find so I didn’t do any checking and it bit me.

All good. I’d love to see Dixon in a nascar race. Though a truck at nwb is certainly a choice.
