I think it all depends on the money Dodge would spend. If you are second fiddle Chevy (to HMS) then maybe a lot of money would entice you. Some of the characters on those teams fit Dodge branding.

I hope so. They will never regain the 2022 form with Chevy.

The only worry teams moving to Dodge. How long do they stay. Not a great track record committing to Cup long term. Teams might be hesitant due to that and lose their spot in pecking order if go back to old mnfr.

Plus, will Dodge put enough money and support to get and stay competitive.

If answers are yes then moving is a no brainer.

Late to the game in the road course discussion.

My feelings can be summarized by being so happy when SVG crashed out.
Otherwise he wins again and it’s boring.

Pretty sad when someone crashes and it makes you happy.

Not normally a road course guy but I enjoyed the SD street race.

As for you guys bitching about SVG dominating road courses, is it safe to say you held the same positoin when Dale was dominating plate races? I'm thinking not.

And as for SVG, looks like ya'll done fricked around and let him figure out ovals. He's done really well on the last several.

On Magnussen or whatever the frick his name is. frick HIM, TWICE. I wish Noah would have throat punched his arse on live TV. On anything outside of a road course, he's a field filler and most likely a DNF. He can frick right on off.

As for Dodge, is that even a brand anymore? I truly do not recall seeing "Dodge" signs on delerships anymore. All I see is Ram. Maybe I'm wrong. I do like that they are coming back to Cup. I just hope it's an ALL IN type approach. However with their woke arse leadership (same bunch that decided it was a great idea to discontinure the internal combustion engine Challenger) that's highly doubtful.

And frick NASCAR FOR GETTING RID OF THE 4TH OF JULY DAYTONA RACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess you missed the part where Noah drove like a pissed off iracer. I don’t condone a part time gig coming in and wrecking a regular. But Noah deserved getting stuffed in the wall. And I wish Noah had punched him…. Front row would’ve fired him on the spot.

Blame Daytona for that. They now have 4 major tourism events instead of 3. Daytona on the 4th will never happen again.

What, have we found a Noah fan?

Noah would have been embarrassed if he tried to fight KMags

I don’t know of anyone in this thread bitching about SVG, if they did I musta missed it. He’s a good driver learning Nascar late in his career age wise. I want someone to challenge him in road courses for fun racing. He is improving in ovals too.

I don’t have a dog in this fight. To me Noah came off the loser. He talked a big game but later said he was gonna punch him but team told him if he did he would not have a job. He knew that before confrontation. So he was goading Mags to throw a punch.

What I do know is regardless who was wronged - Noah intentionally laid back to block and mess with Mags. Meaning he gave up spots solely to be mad at another driver. That hurts the team and sponsors. I think it will lead to him losing his seat either during or after season. Why mess with a one time driver? Makes zero sense.

Anytime we can add a new MNFR thats good for the sport. Right now you have 3 and its hard for lower teams (not the 1A team) to win and pass the 1A team.

I still hate that Nascar allows a driver for one team to own another. Conflict of interest. It almost feels like 23X is a member of JGR. Since teams were called at 4 cars (3 going forward) was this a way for Toyota to bend the rules and basically have 7 cars in a team? If Hamlin is the go between passing info back and forth Nascar can’t stop it. So in surface it looks like 2 teams but Hamlin might be an agent of Toyota and has privy to both teams. I am 100% against it and screw Nascar for allowing it. You want to own a team fine, then drove for it. Gibbs is a pussy for allowing it too - which makes me think Toyota is running both teams behind the scenes.

Agree with you here. They love to ruin tradition and chase core fans away.

Drop the self righteous act.

It’s a road course. He was competing unharmed.

I don’t like watching races where a guy who is a marginal driver on any other type of track wins almost every road course by large margins.

Chase and some others who win a lot of road races can also win on other courses.
