You know, it would be so cool if every Nascar race winner in all 3 levels did the Busch bow afterwards. Would be the best way to carry his legacy forward.
I’m still in disbelief he’s gone

Why no bigger coverage? Why no Hamlin mentions in his podcasts? They really are protecting 23x
How about the poor 77 year old man?
How is his condition after getting maliciously run over by NASCAR's Team Toyota 23XI DEI employee?
I find it absolutely unfathomable that 5 days after the incident, NOT ONE supposed NASCAR JOURNALIST can either give an update on Mr Manchester’s condition or any other account of what the hell happened.
Really have to dig to get info

I feel like there’s more to this story, but we won’t hear about it because of black privilege and a two tiered justice system.

We all know why. Some folks can do whatever they want.

Riggs passed Caruth on the last lap to win.
Riggs dominated most of the race.

My short recap.
Stages 1 and 2 were boring. Then all the cautions and pit strategies in stage 3 were entertaining. It was looking like Riggs team screwed up pitting the first time. He went nowhere mired in traffic. Then another caution and he pits again. I thought that was bad idea. But he charged from back to front and made a last lap pass.
This track is so aero dependent his big move was coming to white flag. He went high and Caruth kind of had him cleared but maybe didn’t by a skosh. Riggs leaned in his back right bumper just enough to not let him clear. Then carried the high side momentum to a great pass.
It was fun seeing Iff his lap times with 11 to go were fast enough to catch. New tires made diff and last pit stop was winning move. And Riggs had to earn it.
Love he did Kyle bow, hope all racers do that.
Ok, not the booth. I am not kidding, watching paint dry would be more fun than listening to the booth. Jamie and Mikie are just flat out horrible. So many quiet gaps. Logano wasn't sure when to talk because they never set him up to talk. Its a complete clown show and I’m pissed off that Fox won’t fix it. Jamie was a DEI booth hire. She is great in pits and worst ever in booth. I can’t believe they won’t fox this error, so many would be better. And Mikie needs to go away. DW, I enjoyed him he added some spice.

It’ll be interesting to see how Heim performs compared to Bubba

Thanks for the recap. I only watched 20 laps because I had to go to sleep for work this morning

Heim going to cup is long overdue. Though I hope 35 becomes 67 because that number weirdly fits Heim.
Herbst is heading to Legacy in their 3rd car #84.
Have to wonder about others.
I’ve seen Jesse Love linked to the wood Brothers. I’ve seen Gragson is on the hot seat, plus what do they do with Layne Riggs? It’s time for him to move up. Same for Austin Hill. I could see Ty Dillon leave Kaulig for Rick Ware #51 in a “third” Childress car. Maybe Justin Haley gets elevated back to cup for when Kaulig becomes Dodge. Maybe Sam Mayer or Sheldon Creed have their eye on that ride. I could see Front Row move on from Todd Gilliland for Layne Riggs too.
Kyle being gone, unfortunate as it is, saves a lot of jobs for other drivers. He was set to be the big player in silly season.

I think Jesse Love gets that #33 car next year over Austin Hill.

Nah I don’t. I think he’s the right choice, but the clues are there.
Austin hill running coke 600 makes sense. He’s similar in size to Busch.
But Nashville? Hill is running again.
There’s also the 3rd car that was announced in preseason, that was suspiciously absent from the entry list for the 600. Who was in he scheduled driver? Jesse Love.
Things that make ya go hmm….

Today confirms that NASCAR isn’t only about the car. You have to have driver skill to be able to wheel it around the track. Cleetus needs to drive a full season in ARCA.

Agreed. I think there’s so much he has to learn about car control and it’s hard to do that in a OAPS car.
