I would rather see all of the races on Prime. It was much better than Fox.

Ridiculous hill to die on for one that claims to be a racing fan. Either you want to watch racing or you don't. And, I'm not lecturing anyone. I don't give a shite either way if you watch.

If tears from the crying about Prime this weekend made the cars go round and round then they wouldn’t need sponsors or TV deals

Look, I have no faith in Congress ever making things better. No matter the party in charge. But the fact its gotten to them means its a huge deal. If not mistaken sports has some protection from antitrust and stuff like that but maybe now this change in accessibility has caught attention of lawmakers.

Why is it ridiculous? See, there you are lecturing again. You do care because when sheeple don’t buy in it means the sports loses more luster as less fans see and promote it. Thats what bothers you is some people can give up something they cared about and you are maybe not as string willed and have less principles.

You see how I can spin it the other way. Stop lecturing people who make choices different than you.

This was interesting last night. Caution helped some teams and hurt others. And then they didn’t wait full 30 minutes. Is it possible they reacted to false info?

For all of us wondering why they had a timer on the truck race, it was because FS1 didn’t want to conflict with Indy coverage on Fox. That’s why the race was called per Dale Jr.

I am sure the people at the track appreciated that

I’d be pissed too, and Jr. agreed by saying they should’ve finished the race. The truck race would not have skewed the Indy ratings that much and we’re talking FS1 and Fox. They should’ve started the truck race earlier if there was even a chance of conflict then.

i believe indy still didn't start for another hour when they called the race. it was ridiculous, and the could have at least done a GWC after the final caution.

Wow! Read that last sentence. Since when is it required to give any driver a break? That sounds like woke crap seeping into rules determinations. No rule says you have to cut any slack. Bad precedent.

Truck race tonight! Hopefully we can get to the checkered without it being rain shortened or having a time clock.

The track is generally quiet till 3 PM CDT, when Truck practice, then qualifying is scheduled.

Light rain showers are moving in from the south, about 20-25 miles away. No lightning is reported.

81°F, feels like 84°F, light SE winds.

PM Showers are expected FRI - SUN. However, I’m expecting complete races for all three series this weekend
