Nah. Nascar needs to get at least one race in. Gonna be hard to rest in with forecast

Fifth of the field hit the wall there thanks to Cram

Apparently it’s also too foggy for nascar race control to see a car blowing up and oiling down the track.

Weird race. Befitting of the last few days I suppose.

Two stages complete in the O’Reilly Series race and that makes it official. Race has been called and Ross Chastain wins.

I understand the frustration of those twitter comments, and Love and Hill post race, but I don't envy NASCAR in situations like these.
There's more rain in the forecast tomorrow. They needed to get a race in somewhere, somehow. I'm thinking the 600 will finish on Monday at this point.

Yes. But the fans stayed all day and all night. Paid for tickets and hotels and lots of food/drinks.
Then they watch a 20 lap yellow flag parade solely to get to stage end. They are who and why we have a sport. You just sent people home who will likely never attend another race. And will badmouth Nascar.
They could have parked them and finished it Sun morning. Then trucks if time. At least then if trucks is delayed they get less viewers and you focus on best racing. NOAP is the best racing Nascar has to offer right now and we all got robbed.
Fans feel betrayed. And already soured with Kyle Busch news. I just think it was a bad decision. I’d rather see a NOAP race than trucks.

Looking at the hour by hour for Charlotte, they’ll easily get the truck race in this morning (no rain). They have a large enough window so they could’ve finished the NOAP race too. Heck, it could’ve started at 7am. Rain starts to return in the early afternoon and through the night 45%-50%. Who knows what tonight entails?

There were no easy decisions for NASCAR this weekend.
Especially in light of their most difficult weekend in over 25 years. I don't envy the decision makers.

I’ve watched one lap of the Truck race and the guy doing the play by play is already so much better at it than Jamie Little.
I admire Jamie, she’s a great pit reporter, but she just doesn’t have it as a play by play person.

They are in a lose-lose situation this weekend

Track is slick as owl shite this AM.
First truck race I've watched in a while. That thing is crabbing down the track like that gawd awful COT.

They can’t stop wrecking.
NASCAR has said Truck race will end at 11:00 AM CDT if they can’t complete all laps before then, which they won’t.

Nascar leadership are complete idiots this weekend.
Run less than 25% of NOAP under green and then call it after a yellow flag parade. Then put a fricking clock on truck race where no track activity is scheduled for hours.
And of course they move Cup coverage to Prime so at least 25% of fans are boycotting that too (based on last years loss).
For me I skip the 5 Prime races. And got ripped off on NOAP and Trucks. Disaster decision making and I feel for attendees spending all that money to then see leadership shite all over them.

I just watched the highlights since I was at track. There were wrecks, but it looked like the racing was still good. So what NASCAR’s reasoning for the running clock? I don’t understand why if, like you said, there was no track activity scheduled. I’d be angry if I was a paying fan.
