These fuel changes at Dega are not going to work.
There’s an easy fix.
1. Do not allow drivers to shut car off on track.
2. Figure out what a normal lap throttle level is and mandate you must maintain at least x average over a green flag run and no green lap less than x. X might be 97% avg and no green lap less than x might be 95%.
This would eliminate fuel mileage races. I equate fuel mileage racing equal to that stupid electric racing in F1. Drivers become managers instead of drivers.
Make drivers have to drive.

Harvick is good on his shows and bad on a broadcast

Same as Jamie Little is great as pit reporter. Neither works in booth however I think if Boyer wasn’t there Harvick would do better. 3 is too many cooks in the kitchen

This is 4 minutes of Rowdy team talking.
This is what happened on Kyle Busch's radio: Busch was dealing with a loose racecar and couldn't get in the corner with it. Eventually, crew chief Jim Pohlman became frustrated their adjustments weren't working.
"What is the frickin' problem now? Is the thing sideways or is it plowing? What the frick does it look like!?"
Spotter Derek Kneeland said it still wasn't getting in the corner and Pohlman snapped again.
"Why? I don't get it! We tighten it up and why can't it get in the frickin' corner!?"
"I don't know. I've got a headset on, not a helmet. I don't, I don't know."
"We keep tightening it up and we keep going slower!"
After Busch's spin and more discussion on how to make the car better, Kneeland spoke directly to Pohlman under caution and told him yelling at each other won't help and they need to keep it together.
"You copy?"
"Yeah, I copy. It's the same shite every week."

NOAP increases viewers. Cup loses. Truck about a wash.
Its the booths and the production. NOAP is far better.
Weekend NASCAR TV viewership is in from the Bristol races.
Cup, which went against the final round of the Masters, got 1.95 million viewers. It was 2.05 million last year, so they dipped by about 100k.
O'Reilly got 1.22 million viewers, up 1 million last year. Nice gain there.
Truck Series race got 489k, down a tick from 498k last year.

And NASCAR tells us that no one would watch a Cup race on Saturday night.
Maybe they would if the product were better.

NOAP has better cars for racing
NOAP has more booth energy
NOAP has better TV production
NOAP has more driver stories
Whats ironic I’ve been saying this for some time, along with others here. But now the racing pundits are finally talking about it. They see it too. And viewer numbers back it up. If you have good racing you increase viewers.

Saturday night Cup races used to be so legit. Truly electric shite.

I wish Allgaier and Creed could’ve caught up with him to fight it out, but an entertaining race nonetheless thanks to good racing and Adam Alexander, Parker, and Jamie in the booth.

Man, NOAP puts on great races!
The TV production is great too. They are in sync with booth.
And this is the best booth in all of racing. They make it exciting no matter what’s going on. Jamie is so so good at his racing discussion. So are the others. They just compliment each other so well.
One thing missing from Nascar is breaking the rules. What I mean is they have so many rules it leaves such a small window to cheat. And thinking back the cheaters getting caught or suspected of cheating drove a ton of fan smack talk.
I think back in regular life and how many laws there are now that didn't exist or not enforced much and how fun it was. Racing is the same. There is just little you can do.
Anyways, NOAP racing is my favorite each week now.
And wow that rollover was wicked. Also the 21 car could have let 2 car pass he was the one making it hard. 2 car came from behind due to his lane getting moved back at the restart He could have let him go knowing 2 was faster. Don’t blame Love there.
The flip
