Looks like the Max leaving RedBull talk is gaining more and more momentum.
We already got the "insider" info about him and Mclaren, whereas SkySports has comments from Bunson saying that he believes Max is destined to Mercedes where they would be the perfect match.
Wondering if we get something over summer break.

I don’t think Max can actually opt out of his contract just yet. I think it’s mathematically impossible for him to be top 2 by the summer break but he actually has to wait til the summer break to officially opt out.
Been seeing a lot of talk about Audi. I think Sainz is interested and saw this morning that Piastri would be interested if he does leave McLaren

He wouldn't be opting out. Doesn't his contract end at the end of this season, regardless? He would just be announcing he won't be re-signing with RB and is now going to Merc/Mclaren

His contract runs thru 2028. It has some exit clauses in it. If he is not top two in the championship at the summer break this season he can opt out and sign somewhere else for next season. They had a meeting recently where Redbull tried to pay him 8 million euros to remove that clause and he told them no.
Right now George is in second place. He has 78 more points than max so with only two races before the break it is mathematically impossible for Max to be top two.

Would love to go. Might be the best Motorsport event in the world.
Formula 1, WEC, Rally, custom cars, antique cars all in 1 spot. Tons of events. Travis pastrana is usually there along with seemingly half the formula 1 paddock. Would be an awesome trip.

If I got to pick one track to see a race it would be this one. Enjoy it while it last. Goes into a rotation with Barcelona in a couple years, don’t think they race there in 2028.
