Is anyone here gonna be nice to us poor fixed income folks and share their Apple log in, or link a bootleg site to watch the races live, or replays ? I love F1 but hard to stomach paying 13.00 per month just to watch it.
Everyone is on a fixed income

Its practice
Let’s see how they do when they are qualifying

I would certainly agree with not crowning anyone in practice.
On that note. The fighting Newey's seem to be on the struggle bus. Heat or some other factor causing their car to stay in the pits.
No doubt the aero is going to count for something. But all the talk is about power distribution. Not sure what this means for actual racing if cars are just going to pass each other because of how they can deploy power and when.

Yeah, that’s not good. Know they’ll be able to upgrade significantly throughout the season but WTH?

If tweet fails to load, click here. "As a pure driver, I enjoy driving flat out and, for now, you can't drive flat out. What you do as a driver has a huge impact on the energy side and, for me, that's not Formula 1"

I’m not a fan of this much electrical power
Listening to the NASCAR motors last night and the old V8/10s of F1 car are just a sweet sound

drivers seem pretty unhappy with the new regs. hopefully it's just normal driver bitching.

i think newey got a late start working on the car. i am hopeful they look better after summer break.

If Max is winning races this year and competing for the championship, I think that's enough motivation to keep going, but if Red Bull is not winning races, I think the cars are unpleasant enough to drive that Max could leave early and just start his WEC career. F1 drivers don't want to be obsessed with energy management, they want to drive at 10/10ths. Tire management is a necessary evil with the current format of F1, but turning F1 into FE I think is really a step too far. Hopefully F1 and the engine manufacturers declare that biofuels are the future and go back to a pure ICE PU at the next rule change.

If tweet fails to load, click here. ??? Max: "The whole feeling of the car is just not fun. Not even Formula 1-worthy, if you ask me. That you'll be driving slower through a corner to save more energy, so you can go faster on the straights. It makes absolutely no sense. Formula 1 should be about being as fast as possible and as fast as possible. This is completely unnatural."
max on whether he’s still interested in formula 1: “yes i am. f1 is still the pinnacle of racing, of course, and i can work with the best people here.
but it's not surprising that I'm also looking around and wanting to compete in other races, like a GT3. at least you can drive flat-out with that, haha.”

Max ain't going anywhere. He's just doing the Hamilton and Alonso speak thing now.
He has his championships so he feels he has nothing to prove. He still wants to be in F1. All he knows in his life.
Kimi is the only one that really left and even he came back.

Lando is such a bitch... I'm honestly surprised Max is friends with him.
Posted on 2/12/26 at 2:14 pm to Lsut81
Im glad Lando called him out.
Just speaking the truth.
It is good to hear the drivers voicing their displeasure though. Won't change much but it is good to hear.
