Do the V8 with push to pass like Indy. It works well for them

Sounds like they will be turbo charged V8s, if what he is saying carries any legitimacy.

Thats fine to. I like supercharger better but that's more a personal choice. I'm not craving about the spooling turbos require.

I don't even care for the PTP. Why do we need gimmicks?

We have camped at Dega and it was a blast

Dega is a blast too. For COTA there’s a couple camping lots. The one on the back side of the track is the fun one. The front one is expensive RVs and fancy food. The back lot gets a little more ratchet and has people in converted school party buses handing out Jell-O shots and karaoke machines.

I wish they had a couple different power unit options and used weight, boost or fuel rate to keep it close. It would be fun to see different combos with different advantages at certain tracks or sectors.

Because it will only be qualifying then a follow the leader race.

There isn't enough delta to have passing on track.

In addition to him opining and trying to influence the new engines already, he's making a play for Horndog to return too

As I said, I talk to him regularly, and I feel he will be back. When he comes back, it will be like he went for a vacation."

Sounds like they got a much better deal than Apple.

Apple got 5yrs for 750m and SkySports gets 8yrs for 1B

2025 avg viewership:

US - 1.3m on ESPN/ABC
UK - 1.7m on SkySports

Apple SVP over the weekend claimed that viewership for the first 3 races was "way up" over what ESPN pulled last year, but failed to state numbers. Take it with a grain of salt.

Saw plenty of people bitching about the cost of sky sports subscription too.

I was out of town this past weekend and finally caught up with it all yesterday morning but didn’t have much to say about the results.

Can’t say I’m a fan of Kimi winning a bunch. I’m sure Italy is but other than that…

Would prefer to see some more competition between the Mercedes drivers à la 2016 or see more competition from Ferrari, McLaren, and Red Bull.

I guess I’m the only one but I really like the AppleTV deal thus far.

Works great for me. I’m not spending $80/month on ESPN via YouTube TV anymore.

It's fine with me. I had F1TV before so really it is just a bonus. The 4K streaming seems better than any other service I have.
