Paging LSUPride. We're headed to the US Open for the Quarters. Got some AMEX pre-sale tix today for Sept 3rd night matches. Likely gonna get Sept 2nd night as well. Any advice? Also, did you have some sort of players thing too?

No real advice. If you got night match tickets you are doing it right.

I’ve been able to hook people up with players tickets but that doesn’t get you into Ashe.

Round of 16 weekend is the best time to go to a grand slam imo. Gets lots of matches still but good matchups.

If you have Ashe tickets you also get access to GA seating at Armstrong and the Grandstand

I was wondering why I couldn't find the score.

I would have lost most bets I have had my eye on so far, but I did think Norrie had a great chance against Medvedev. Raducanu +600 is tempting.

Pretty bad loss for Casper Ruud. Back to vulturing 250s for him. Great athlete but pushing only goes so far.

I don't know, man. I think he is pretty solid. I'm guessing he had physical issues, which is unexpected as he is pretty fit. He just doesn't have the weapons to beat the best guys in big matches. DeMinaur is more of a pusher IMO.

Yeah, he seemed to go downhill in late 2nd or early 3rd. Had to have tweaked something.

Happy for Borges though. He is having a solid career.

Tommy Paul serving for the match after coming back from 2 set hole. Fucsovics also had a chance to serve it out at 5*-3 in the 3rd set.

That was a great match by Tommy Paul. Fucsovics was just going for broke , and Tommy had something wrong with his leg, but he gutted it out.

Huge win today for Miss State alum Borges, taking out Ruud who was a top 5 contender to win the FO.

Sucks Ruud got hurt. That knee has been bothering him for awhile now.

Who are all the SEC tennis players in this year’s FO?

On the men’s side I recognize….

Ben Shelton-Florida
Arthur Rinderknech-Texas A&M
Ethan Quinn-Georgia
Nuno Borges-Mississippi State
Adam Walton - Tennessee

Tim Puetz(doubles) - Auburn - WDE
Andy Mies (doubles) - Auburn - WDE
Mark Wallner(doubles) -Tennessee
Michael Venus (doubles) - LSU

I do not think this is a comprehensive list, who am I missing?

Those Roland Garros tix you got for my son and I two years ago are the source of some great memories. I love that place, the setting in Paris, the grounds, the fact that you sit so close to the action on the outside courts that your clothes have red clay dust in them when leaving. What a great time.
