Some decent racing through the field, but Logano is making it look easy up front like Gibbs during the open race.

Of course they come back from commercial, and Buescher has closed within a half-second as the leaders hit lapped traffic.

If not for lapped traffic, the racing up front hasn’t been much more interesting than it was last year.

Bubba and Logano with some good clean racing. you love to see that

Also, NASCAR needed to bring an actual soft tire. There really isn’t that big of an consequence for running soft for those 100 laps

Just so tough to get around someone on the bottom.

The soft tire certainly hasn't fallen off as much as advertised.

Yep, not falling off like they did in practice. I guess night racing is making a huge difference for this tire. Unfortunately, if the tire isn’t a big factor then this car will probably continue it’s trend of producing “meh” short track racing.

Good battle up front right now, though.

Yep. The "soft" tire needs to fall off more and fall off faster.

Make them all use the rain tire the remainder of the race and watch chaos ensue.

Another issue is the engineers seem to have failed to consider that racing at night with cooler temps would make the tire wear easier. Who would have thunk?

The crew chiefs also figure out a way to make the tires not matter. The deal at Bristol this spring only happened because no one was expecting it. When crew chiefs and engineers have time to prep for it, they find a way to reduce the impact of the softer tires.

Clint Bowyer is such a sunshine pumper. He always saying how he loves what he’s seeing. North Wilkesboro is now his favorite short track.

Overall a very “meh” race. Wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever seen, but I wouldn’t call it a good race.

Logano led 199 of 200 laps.

The one place this car seems to do well at is the intermediate tracks. Maybe they should take the All-Star race back to Charlotte.

Stenhouse waited 200 laps to throw down.

Stenhouse!

I kept yelling at the TV: "Punch him!" and he finally lit him up.
