Central was All GAS and No Brakes!!

The Road to the Dome was a "I - 20 Gauntlet"!!!! Special!

Central Top WR Womack was OUT last week w Concussion ; so Neville caught a break! He scored a long TD on them last year!

He was a difference maker tonight 59 yard TD to go up 7 - 0
Ended up 6 rec 113 yards 2 TDs

Central Defense is LEGIT ...but was not expecting a shut out!
Coach Simoneaux had em firing on all cylinders!

Just saw where Ruston only had 90 yards of offense.

Crazy that this didn’t even count and there was a walk in TD dropped in the first quarter that could’ve made it 49-0. Unreal performance

If I did my math correctly Central out scored their opp 416-171. They only have up 40 total points defensively in 4 games in the playoffs!!! That’s an amazing stat considering today’s types of offenses!!

Centrals D was amazing, plus set the record for fewest yards given up in a championship game!!

Rounding up or down Centrals avg per game was 30-12.

Impressive stats! Thanks for posting that! And of that 40 points given up in 4 Playoff games....Central had a 45-6 lead vs West Ouachita then put JV in to make it 45 - 20

My daughter is a Senior on the Dance team ; been to 48 straight games in 4 years! What a journey!

My Wife teaches at CMS 8th grade; watched these kids grow up! This is special! That was a brutal beat down!

The awful car wreck right before season Opener late August that #3 the QB ; #4 the WR ; #5 the RB endured to Bounce Back and Win Championship is the stories Movies are made of.

Yes, after I saw Central beat Cecilia 27 - 0, I told people that Central would make it to the Dome.

I know Diesel was hurt in the 1st quarter of that game, but they still wouldn't have won with him.

Dogg, what was wrong with the Cecilia offense in the 2nd half? It looked like they went away from the run and tried to pass too much to me.

Major props to Cecilia 3A ; (half the size) for traveling & taking on 5A Central

The talented Bulldogs had a massive O-Lineman looked every bit of 6'-6" close to 300lbs!

You must be talking about Menard the left tackle. They might have one other "big" guy, but the rest of the team is about 150 pounds at best. That's why they do crazy things on the D Line.

Franklinton went to a dime look. Only linebackers and DBs on the field. It was the perfect adjustment Cecilia just had too many horses in the stable.

Yep perfect defensive adjustments by Salt and staff. If Franklinton wouldn’t have made a few key offensive mistakes in Q4 they win…..not to take anything away from Cecilia they were great.

It looked like they added a player to the line to me. Cecilia only scored one TD in the 2nd half and that was a tip drill TD.

The only team to shut them out in a half was Central (BR), although Solari was hurt on the 2nd series of that game if I remember correctly.

I think they just went away from running the ball and passed way too much.

It was obvious that Central and Karr came in and played their best games of the year. ASH suffered from first time itis in a big way. But as an ASH fan our best game still loses by multiple TDs. Our core defensively returns and we should be better next year. At one point we had 6 sophomores out there. Offensively we will need to rebuild an attack. But I give props to Karr. Our best OL looked like a JV player trying to block 90. It is rare that a player is better than his billing. And when you can’t control the point of attack at all there are no answers.

Second, Karrs receivers after the catch were the best I’ve seen. Having to get two or three hats to them. So their strength and conditioning coupled with tremendous athletes was another issue.

Lastly, scheme defensively was just awesome, their DC was ahead of us most game, again dominant line play makes everyone look great. But he made some calls against our tendencies that were perfect.

As awful as it was, ASH has a good run or two left with what’s on campus. Hopefully the kids enjoyed the run and come back wanting to improve where needed.

Last note, it was a good clean game with no bullshite, nine of that trash that we saw from JC. So another well done to bringing a team in at Karr that was ramped up and primed but just took it to us and didn’t do anything but play awesome football

At this point, Karr is a well oiled machine that will be tough to beat for the foreseeable future

Incredible athletes all over the field coupled with a coaching staff that always seems to be a step ahead of the competition is a tough beat. They look like a 2010’s SEC version of an SEC team. They’re unbelievable
