Fritz already looking shaky against Novak. Djoker was not super sharp in his first service game and gave Fritz an opening to get a quick break which he squandered. Then he proceeds to dump his own serve.

High level tennis isn’t meant to be played at 95 degrees.

Very true. Weather says it feels like it’s 101 lol. Tough conditions

I think Ostapenko wanted no part of it. I always laugh when people make fun of the players getting gassed at the Aussie Open after four hours in 100 degree temps.

I was last in Ashe five years ago -- even in the upper deck with the roof open, I felt like the air was completely stale and gross and the stadium had no circulation.

You should have seen the cramp fest yesterday. And that was at night. Of course they wait until they can’t walk before ramping up the aggression.

I couldn’t believe so many high level minds like Johnny Mac and Roddick were saying this heat wa San advantage for Fritz. That’s nonsense. He was going to lose no matter what, but once the forecast game out his chances were zero

Who cares his ball will be bigger in the heat, he can’t mentally handle it like djok

Fritz was very sloppy. Definitely a mental thing today, since he had only dropped serve once all tournament.

47 grand slam semis. Just absurd.

When you are tired, your legs on your serve are the first thing to go. Fritz had no shot today

Shelton has such a punchable face. Hoping Tiafoe can make a run to the finals and knock out Alcaraz. Don’t see it happening though

These doubles chicks screaming every shot is pathetic.

She 100% mailed it in. 33 unforced errors in 14 games. Not even sure how that’s possible. Just swinging for the fences.

Shelton hitting some really nice shots here and playing with more poise than Tiafoe. Foe looks a little shaky so far and now finds himself down a double break.

Shelton just told the chair ump he wants his racket strung at 57/60. I can’t believe that actually. Imagine he’s hitting in the 140’s with tight strings.

I have never in my life seen someone as physical on a tennis court as Shelton

He makes Roddick and nadal look week out there
