Saw some Acapulco highlights and I was literally laughing at some of the points. That Mexican wild card kid was hitting every ball as hard as he could and still couldn't get anything past De Minaur. I don't know if it's the transition from the faster courts or what, but it feels like I'm watching pickleball. It makes sense that Fritz won this last year. It would have either have to be someone like him or a guy that's willing to play pong for 3 hours in the heat.

Yeah as good as you can ask for, especially considering the weak Acapulco draw and the Alcaraz/Norrie late withdrawals.
Berrettini got booed out of the stadium last night. He was getting murdered and rain stopped play on set point for Rune. After about 40 mins they resumed and he just quit at 6-0, 1-0 with no real sign of injury.

Just a joke since he can’t lose lately, and getting suspended for doping seems to have improved his game.
Kinda funny though that he’s not even listed at any books when there are players in the 50/1 range with no chance at all.
