We have Pegula and Kvitova live now in some team event in Sydney. Foe is playing Machac next.

Nole has landed in Adelaide and is set to play there next week. Looks like they are doing 250s there the next two weeks and there is also a New Zealand event in two weeks.

Aussie Open begins on January 16.

I would like to see him tie Rafa next month, then the young guns can take over.

What happened to Foe this 2nd set? I thought he was on his way to an easy victory.

The hurdle of the barricade at the end really accentuates it. I love that even in French, they call it le tweener. There isn't a French word for that?

le tweener

Didn’t even catch that lol

It’s weird to me that every venue down under looks the same and the only way you can tell the difference is the Perth in the backcourt.

I'm betting Norrie at those odds.

I wish I had, but waited and ended up with +185. It makes no sense. Rafa hasn't played since November and he wasn't in great form then. Norrie has been beating top players. I guess people are looking at the 4-0 H2H but 2 of those were on clay.

Alex got routined 4 and 2 by someone I've never heard of, but I thought he looked decent. Guy just played well.

Nadal played a really good 1st set against Norrie. 6-3.

Court is playing quick.

Not watching but that damn guy is probably out there playing like it’s a slam final.

Just noticed this event is part of the tour. For some reason I thought it was an exhibition. It’s sort of like a mixed-gender version of Davis Cup, and you get points based on the ranking of the player you beat.

ETA: Norrie finally breaks to go up 4-2 in the 2nd after blowing triple BP.

Novak supporter here! So happy to read he will be allowed. It’s crazy to think that the US Open is the only tournament he would still be barred from playing.

Yeah Nadal making some errors now. I think he gets fatigued in matches way easier than he did even just a couple of years ago.

Norrie has to be the favorite going into the final set.

That’s one thing you can count on with Norrie. He might suck at tennis but I’m not sure if he’s ever been fatigued enough to where it affects his play.

Rafa will probably push hard in the first few games.

ETA: Norrie is getting into all of Rafa’s service games now, and he just escaped 15-40 to hold and go up 4-2.
