You can select teams and compare their average pit stop at each race but I don't think you can find their averages over the whole season.

Thanks. The standings and selection grid seem to bear out that Mercedes is bad at pit stops this season. Just 7 races averaging under 3 seconds a stop, and 0 averaging under 2.5. Red Bull, ferrari, and mclaren all have much better numbers.

Ferrari participates more as an exhibition (or cautionary tale) for other teams so they should be exempt because no one really cares

right? Wtf is Ferrari thinking. If you're going to bend the rules its all in or nothing. Embarrassing that they can't even do this correctly

"inspect". Honestly why inspect the most underachieving team in the past 2 decades unless your real purpose is just for kicks to determine why they suck every race? Inspect the brains on the pit wall for choosing a strategy that had lec driving a tractor for the last 20 laps. I'm not bitter though.

Lol how cursed is Sharl that they checked the top 3 and then him?
beating up on a cripple is beneath even the FIA. They are a terror organization. Hopefully rocket powered Mohawk will expose this conspiracy in his next video

Merc has never really exceled at pit stops. They would lead by so much it never really mattered. Like many of their problems.

Considering the list of things they check on every car after every race, the fact they only check four for plank wear, which is a simple go/no go measurement, is ridiculous.

And won't check the other "sister car" when there is a failure.

Hell, had a 50% failure rate on the cars they chaecked and the FIA is good with that.

Did we ever find out just what was wrong with Verstappen's brakes? He was infuriated all day with them.

My guess is it was the booing from the Checo fans that overheated the pads IMO.

Waiting for the Hamilton/Norris/George contracts to end in 2025.

Sainz and Leclerc going into their last year with limited seats makes me think one may accept a one year deal and try their hand at the 2025 scuffle that may also include Piastri.

It means the intern mechanic tightened down an allen screw a little too much on the caliper. Don't worry, Darth Helmut has taken care of the intern problem.

Man it's going to be some good silly seasons coming up.

Surprised Sainz isn't one of the names popping up for Audi. IMO Sainz has been the better driver for Ferrari this year but I can't see them keeping him over LeClerc if they only ended up keeping one.

I've been a bit of a broken record with how impressive Albon has been but if I'm a team looking for a new driver he would be #1 priority for me. I hope Williams keeps improving and is able to keep him but I would imagine almost any team out there would be glad to have him.

I hope so because SSS (tm) Summer Silly Season really sucked.

Heard his name a few months ago and when Audi first came in. But seems like he’s trending for a Ferrari return now. And Audi def wants a German driver for one of the seats.

An interesting take that I heard this week regarding the DQs, believe it may have been a podcast coming out of The Race.

In usual test sessions the wear on the plank would have been seen and likely the teams would have corrected for it. Either via setup or driving style. However, since they were only allowed 1 session to practice then enter parc ferme there was no chance the teams could adjust their cars even if the knew after quali or the sprint race.

As one of the founding members of the "Team frick Sprint Races" I would like to note that sprint race format has gone from being stupid and not adding anything to now actively fricking up the GP results.
