Appreciate all the suggestions. I use Google more often than not because the ESPN one stinks (even when they have the coverage for tourneys) but I’ll try out the Sofascore and then reupload the Aussie open one.

I use Flashscore for soccer and tennis. There’s alerts for match start, end of set, final result, etc… plus stats, match history, head to head results, odds, rankings, and draws. It’s so fast that I have to turn off the alerts when watching a match because it’s at least a point ahead. I’m guessing Sofascore is similar but never tried it.

Looking pretty hard at Varillas tonight. Zverev has only been back for a month and hasn’t looked great. Lost his last 3 in straights and had 1 ace and 8 DF vs. Lehecka. Varillas is nothing special of course, but special isn’t required when your opponent is donating. Not to mention the heat/humidity in theory would affect Zverev more than a Peruvian, both mentally and physically.
ETA: If you are full-on crazy, Baena can be found at 30/1 or better. Just check the rules and make sure your book pays out if Novak retires after the 1st set. Even better if you get a win for a 1st set retirement, but not many books do that.

No live tennis on ESPN until 10:30 tonight. I honestly wonder why they bid for it if they don’t even want to put in any effort to cover it.

Yeah, that's terrible. I'm used to NBC doing this garbage with the French, but ESPN is usually better than this. The Monday night game probably plays a part, but they could run the tournament on ESPN2, unless there is some huge college basketball commitment.

I get why they couldn’t do it then. Seems like an incredibly lame excuse to not be on site now. And it’s not just them that do it, but IMO it hurts the game watching environment because you don’t get the same sort of crowd sounds and the announcers don’t get the same feel.

Chardy serving for the 2nd set after losing the 1st. Nice to see him finally back after the vax issues. That said, I'll be watching closely looking for a spot to fade him since he hasn't played much at all and jumping right into 4 or 5-setters in that heat is a recipe for an L.

The only thing I've found to be more up to date is following directly on the betting apps. It also has live stats if you click on a match.
Started using it while betting. It's also the best way to follow Soccer scores worldwide.

Honestly wish ESPNs gamecast was as good as flashscore. Espn has such a horrendous app
