Well that's definitely going to be a bit awkward to explain

That to me is the worst part of this. People are grinding about the pushing and shoving after the race. That’s been going on for years. Pushing and shoving ain’t gonna kill somebody. Deliberately hitting them at full throttle could.

NASCAR has to park him. And if he doesn’t want this hanging over him for the rest of his career, he needs to do a mea culpa … he did himself no favors running his mouth yesterday … and take his punishment without complaining.

Wallace has entitlement issues.

I agree with this sentence here. Bubba gained a lot of attention, followers, fans, etc. after the garage incident at Talladega. He was a pretty cool guy before that, but to me, has become much more full of himself since then. It seems like he feels like he can do no wrong and is above criticism (see his comment yesterday to NBC's Marty Snider telling Marty to "stop fishing" when Marty suggested Bubba had retaliated), when the truth is, no one is above criticism.

You can’t explain it. It was inexcusable.

Look, even Larson admitted he was due some retaliation. That didn’t just cross the line, it obliterated the line.

Remember Carl Edwards doing the same if not worse to Keselowski at Atlanta? IMO he was never viewed the same way by fans or his peers after that and I’ve always wondered if that may have hastened him walking away so early.

I agree 100%. I like Bubba and think there’s a place for him in NASCAR. I lost respect for him yesterday and think he’s in danger of screwing everything up.

Wallace is always angey. He feels he is owed something. His avg finish is 18.5 this year and thats the best of his career. Is there any other backmarker getting so much help and support? Nope

He has not yet published an apology. If nascar doesn’t come down hard he’ll rage again.

The pushing of Kyle was bad becuse he unsafely ignored nascsr rules leaving his car. The first push put Kyle into his car with his side and could have hurt him. But then he kept going after him and to the TV audience and now millioms of social media posts of it - it looked like bullying and assault. Is that what Michael Jordon or McDonalds wants to sell kids meals with?

His interview was more of same. Just complete entitlement.

He made the choice to not lift. Could have won race and handled it later or at next race. He chose to press accelerator 100% and steer down and take out Larson. He chose to push/ignore officials/rules. He chose to leave car against rules. He chose to bully Larson not once but several times. He chose to ignore official again and walk to pit lane pushing official.

Larson never hit hs car. He did run him up. But since Wallace isn’t up front much he doesn’t know how to lift and fight another lap. In fact it was Wallace who restarted in 1st and drove himself back to 5th, so he was already falling back meaning Harvick and Larson had faster cars.

Penske has to be a favorite for getting both cars into the Final Four. Las Vegas and Martinsville are historically great tracks for them.

Well well well

Whats ironic is Hamlin is part owner of Wallace car. Hamlim was big time railing about this car and safety last week. And now his car driver intentionally wrecks Larson going 180. And violiates many safety rules afterwards.

Will Hamlin rail about the saftey issues his driver caused?

I don’t mind Hamlin like many here, but I doubt he says anything.

Gibbs and Bell should.
That pic showing full in the gas was shocking.
Bubba claimed he lost steering, an obvious lie. But even if true, being full accelerator and no break is damning.

And for a fairly minor and common racing incident. It’s not like Larson did something completely stupid. At all.

This was amazingly foolish on his part.

SMT shows real time data for every car on track of MPH, RPM, brake pressure, throttle percentage, and steering angle.

If ( ) he did it intentionally, everybody in the garage knows it.

Dude’s just a bipolar douche bag with no self awareness in front of a camera, plain and simple. If he’s not crying like a bitch, he’s being an arrogant arse.

Yea, let’s not forget that he had a mental breakdown a few years ago and sat out a race, I believe, because his white woman left him…

This is different angle of first push and as you can see that is a good distance to car. If you can imagine Larson hitting that section with his side it could easily have hurt him bad based on angle of car truck lid where it folds over. Wish Larson had complained about pain afterwards, would have forced nascars hand.

Right after that as Kyle leaning on car Wallace takes swing

Has NASCAR released any statements regarding this issue? I'm sure it was a hot topic in the headshed this morning, especially with the videos circulating around the media.

Not that I am aware of. As far as they are concerned this never happened.

That’s what they probably hope far, but I don’t think it will be that easy for them.

I guarantee if they don't recognize it, it'll be forgotten about by next week. This is exactly the kind of thing that America needs an unbiased media for. To hold pressure on entities like this to recognize a black guy attempting to hospitalize and then repeatedly bullying and assaulting an half Asian guy the same way they do when a black guy mistakes a garage pull for a fricking noose.

Nascar is prolly negotiating with mcDonalds, MJ and Hamlin to see what they will accept.

Nascar: “will you accept ban for next 3 races”?

Them: “lol, no way. Give us unlimited ads on your next 3 tracks, have your top 10 drivers say nice things about Bubba and we’ll settle for a $50k fine. And Larson has to apologize plus gets a $100k fine just because its better for us”.
