Congrats to Bell. Well earned, he was the best car the last 100 laps.
I like him a lot. A lot of talent.
His girl.....

This knock someone out of playoffs?

Puts Harvick in a must win spot. Makes truex vulnerable. Think we surpass 16 winners.

It would be funny if McDowell wins one of the road courses and Erik Jones, Almirola or Stenhouse win Daytona and Truex, Blaney and Harvick are out

Truex probably does well enough on road courses to point his way in. I think at least one of the road courses has a repeat winner. Who knows what will happen at Daytona.

So, Bell gets Bubbas crew and goes out and wins. I guess thats gotta sting for Bubba, or is it telling they worked harder for Bell and had great stops all day long.
I like Bell congrats on win. Chase passed most cars today it seemed but likely had a small tweak adjustment on last stop that hurt. He’s hard on himself even for finishing 2nd but thats a great racer when they hate to lose.
Points are crazy with Harvick now way out. One of Truex, Blaney or Harvick will mot make chase.

To be fair, Bubba did finish 3rd.

I think Chase used his car up getting around Logano and Kurt. Especially the former.
I love that he is his own worst critic.

Harvick and Trued are actually tied right at the cut line but MTJ is 16th I'm guessing due to average finish.

Doubt we see much passing from big stock cars on a street course.
Posted on 7/19/22 at 3:55 pm to tWildcat
Does it go thru the highest shooting gallery in America? Dodging corners and bullets should make for interesting race

Gonna be a shite show.
Let's give it a chance before we make declarations either way. A lot of people said the same thing about the Clash at The Coliseum and it ended up being a rousing success.
Props to NASCAR for trying new things, even if they might not work out, they are at least trying. And that's all we can ask for. But NASCAR fans are never happy unless they're always bitching about something.

I’m usually pretty happy and not bitching, I’m just saying judging by the layout of the course I think passing will be very hard to do.

Also, dangerous. That's July 4th weekend.
Dims will be out in full force shooting people

Fair enough
I have read a couple of reviews of the course that have said that the turns are actually wider than they look.
We'll definitely find out.

I hope so, I actually do like the layout, it just looks narrow in the turns.
Not sure if anyone listens/watches Pardon My Take from Barstool but they did a pretty good interview with Frankie Muniz and he talks about how he was the last person to talk to Dale Earnhardt before he died(besides his crew chief, spotter, etc.), pretty good interview.

Is there a way to watch a NASCAR event on USA Network without having to see the ads for the horrendous looking Austin Dillon reality show? I cringe just seeing those ads, so I can’t imagine how awful the actual show is.
