How did Chase not make minimum speed? His car didn't like it was tore up at all from his spin.

He scraped the wall and broke a right rear tow link. I guess they couldn’t get it fixed within the time limit sufficiently to be able to make minimum speed.
ETA: What Larry Mac just said. He couldn’t make minimum speed so his crash clock didn’t reset, so they couldn’t get it fixed in the amount of time they had.

That's what it was. The time clock ran out because the next caution didn't allow him to get back to "racing" speed.

Thanks, I missed them mentioning that, I thought he had just spun out after brushing the wall with little damage. Did not know he broke a suspension piece.

That same piece is what cost Keselowski 100+ points earlier this season. Brad had modified it and it's a required part.

The 23 did not make minimum speed and is still on the DVP. He may be disqualified. He was on track but was trying to save tires before Stage end
