If I ever play the new F1 game I'll turn off damage and pinball through this track like Monaco.

Gotta perfect glancing off cars in front of you. Divebomb the corner and let the unlucky bastard in front of you provide both braking and turning.

Lewis struggling… Ferrari looking strong again. Let’s see if RB puts enough fuel in this time.

Marko via German broadcast just said, "Max isn't scared, but Checo is. But it isn't that much different if you're used to living in Mexico City"

That's going to go over well

Danny Ric not looking good. Biggest deficit to his teammmate. Worse than rookie Zhou's deficit to Bottas! (I'm not counting KMag's troubles.)

Ric: 0.792s deficit
Zhou: 0.783s deficit

Ric always struggles when the car has brake deficiencies. His style seems to rely heavily on getting the brakes top notch.

When Yuki's car stopped and he got out, I noticed that his helmet had an HRC logo (the Honda logo was there last year). I thought that was interesting since the branding of the engine changed, so I didn't expect to see any Honda branding. So I looked at Gasly's helmet, and his helmet does not have the HRC logo. So I guess it's just personal sponsorship.

It's going to be a two horse race for the first few races it looks like between Ferrari and Red Bull. Hamilton does not look in a position to challenge the 4 cars ahead of him.

It's good to see Russell right behind Hamilton though, that shows that the car isn't as far behind the top 2 teams and it's not just Lewis dragging it around the track making it look better than it is. I'm surprised to see Mercedes still struggling with porpoising though. You'd imagine a team with their resources should have figured it out by now.

Any know when is the next set of big upgrades coming for most teams?

Tahrs may be an issue;

"Rears fully gone now," Latifi reports over team radio having done 14 laps on his set of mediums. Given the race is 50 laps on Sunday, that could mean a lot of pitstops. #F1

Yay, great news!

The C3 Mediums were Softs last week, and the C2 Hards were Mediums last week. So I don't think it's going to look that different this week. If there's no safety car, it will probably be most guys going for two stoppers (H,H,M) unless the lap time differential is significant between H and M, in which case I would love to see half the field doing a three-stop strategy (M,M,H,M).
