Mick has to find a way to catch up. He’s been a little disappointing this season without Mazepin to beat up on.

With the track conditions and the multiple reds it was a bit of a crapshoot. I don't think he's a second slower than Kevin with the same circumstances.
While Max looks to be wayyy faster than the Ferrari's LeClerc didn't push on his lap to save his tires for the following one. Which he never got because of a red.
Will be interesting to see if Mick can make up some spots tomorrow.

Happy for Haas and Mag. Hope they have a strong showing. Hoping to get to go to the race in Austin. My brothers company has like 75 Haas c&c machines and hooked them up last year.

Nina received the trophy in 1970 after he died on the approach to the Parabolica at Monza. F1's only posthumous WDC. I remembered this because he shares my mother's birthday (April 17th) he would have been 80 this year. The accident happened because Lotus among others removed the rear wing at Monza to try to keep up with the Ferrari V12s. The Lotus was said to be nearly undrivable. Jochen had a habit of not attaching the submarine belt so he could get out faster in a fire, in the crash he slid under the attached belts and it slit his throat.
Besides the lone WDC he never got to enjoy he also won Lemans driving for a US based team in a Ferrari.
Nina was a looker

Anyone think there may have been some Bose abuse today?

Has Merc really brought any upgrades this week, or really this year?
They had a couple floors, but can imagine the frustration if you show up every weekend and just try to minimize damage because there are no attempts to improve the car.
