Well let’s just say you have figured out the purpose of the stages
one or them anyways There are 3 stages in each race, at the finish of each stage drivers in the top 10 are awarded stage points relative to their position. So the 1st place gets 10, 2nd 9.....etc...... first place in each stage also gets a playoff point.....confusing......anyways the purpose is multiple things. One is to give the drivers something to race for so they don’t just ride around all day, the other is commercials, the other is that it bunches the field back up when they get spread out which in NASCAR’s eyes makes things less boring
I’ll give them this, they have done away with the bullshite debris cautions since they started doing it

Well damn, thought I was the only Bubba fan here. He’s asking to get dumped though, didn’t have to block Logano like that. Think he’s got a giant chip on his shoulder and is racing like he has something to prove, gotta be a little less aggressive at this point of the race
