Texas State is supposed to have a pretty dang good team this season. Personally, I'd like it if the Cajuns could get back to being a perennial top Sunbelt contender, and Texas State become the rival South Alabama used to be for our ballclub.
I'd enjoy a nice heated, angry across the Sabine rivalry.

Believe me, InsecureU fan wanted that game last night badly. They needed it for their own personal feelings.
LA Tech could string together 20 in a row right now, and there would be LSU fans on here reminding you that your team really isn't that good because they lost to an LSU team that "sucks".

it makes sense that it could be a rivalry
it feels like the sun belt really doesnt have rivalries in a sense that a lot of programs are new to the conf

I think it’d be fun to have Texas State as part of that, though. Especially with us having a kid from Cinco Ranch and another from Fulsher who could be key players for us the next couple years.

I didn't say anything about his performance. He pitched excellent.
I'm just saying you can't claim it is another teams "Super Bowl" when your team is displaying the same emotion on big plays. (Not that you did, but multiple posters on the Rant did)
