Louisiana wins 2-0. Both teams pitched well, neither team fielded well.

La Tech 0 - 3 - 3
Louisiana 2 - 7 - 2

That was an arse whooping, regardless of the final score. Game was never in doubt for the Cajuns.

Maybe now we can stop listening to opposing announcers suck us off because we are good on paper, while looking like the bad news bears on the field.

Tech looked pretty pedestrian at the plate tonight. 2 of the 3 hits came in the 9th. A lot of it was good pitching but batters also never adjusted to the strike zone. Lots of watching strikes go and staring in disbelief. They’ll definitely hit a lot better than that moving forward but the fielding was really bad.

Umpire called the low strike all night. Cajuns adjusted, our batters were still waiting for it to be called a ball in the ninth

Y’all have a solid ball club this season. Pitching is obviously there, but the bats seem like they’ll be good enough to make the field of 64. Long season, rematch in Ruston should be fun.

Bats should come around with Deggs

His aggressive mindset was evident with the 3 pick offs. Gotta take the good with the bad there I guess

Techs starting pitcher was super fast with the pick offs

Tulane beat UNO 7-1. Felt kind of critical to win that after blowing leads on Sat/Sun and losing two straight in extra innings.

I actually like about half of the pitching staff, but the other half is questionable.

Fielding is completely unreliable, as-is hitting.

There may be a chance that ULL is actually good, and those 3 extra inning games were just a sign of a close matchup.

Y’all’s announcer stated quite a few times this past weekend how your infield and outfield is really good and talented. I know y’all’s CFer made several great catches on balls that I thought were sure base hits.

It's still a little weird seeing all the players with long hair and facial hair. Other than 2014, Robe never really allowed it

I don't really like Riola but I think it's only because of his facial hair. He's been a solid player so far. I don't know, but his facial hair sucks.

Well, I would not call it an arse-whooping, but I do kind of feel like it was ours to lose all night. That was not the case with any of the Tulane games this past weekend.

As others have stated, Arrighetti was a beast. But we are used to stellar pitching; what's really nice to see is the bats coming along too. So frustrating over Robe's last few years when we couldn't hit for shite.

Looking for the match-up of the week tonight...should be a great game, and I am happy to say I will be there.

Last night in an early inning the LF was camped out under a ball then had to reach to his left and catch it knee high, looked pretty shaky but overall the fielding wasn't that bad.

yeah....I thought there were several great OF catches last night, not to mention that there were 2 double plays by the Cajuns. Doesn't that make 5 DP's already for the season?

Tulane's pitching did a good job. UNO had that one pitcher in the 5th where everything went wrong. Once they lifted him, they were ok but the damage was done. It was a game until then.
