You can mess w/a lot of things as a crew chief/crew and get away w/it, the spoiler ain't one of them.

That's a fireable offense IMO.

Truex was gonna have to win his way in. Still have Martinsville. He’s been dominant there lately.

Race was postponed from yesterday to this morning due to a persistent mist that kept the track wet. Unfortunately, more mist/rain is ongoing at Texas Motor Speedway this morning.

If they hadn't run the truck race yesterday morning, they could've gotten the race in earlier.

NASCAR should’ve called an audible and run the lower series Saturday. They’ve let the tv rights people dictate everything.

I got three bets on this race but hey I can't lose if they don't finish.

Elliott 8.5/1
Truex 10/1
Keselowski 11/1

I liked Bowman at 30/1 but didn't pull the trigger, he's currently 7/1. Gross

Other guys that are interesting,
Harvick 9/1, pass
Hamlin 8/1
Kyle Busch 14/1, interesting
Johnson 33/1
Suarez 1000/1 LOL

The worst thing about the rain the last two days at Texas is that it’s been a very light rain or just a mist. It hardly even shows up on radar, giving false hope that there were windows to get the race in.

Still delayed by light rain/mist. Gotta think NASCAR will do whatever to get it in today/tonight.

Looking like they'll have a delayed start today. Track is still wet and they haven't sent out the driers. May take a couple hours, but their isn't any rain in the forecast tonight.

In the end, Larson likely upgraded to a better ride.

Yeah, Larson upgraded big time. Good for him. The kid can drive. The 88 will become the 5.

Larson in the 5.
Byron in the 24.
Bowman in the 48.
Chase in the 9.

Byron turns 22 on Nov.29th, Chase turns 25 the day before. Bowman is 27 and Larson is 28. So 2 are 25 or younger, and all 4 are under 30. And all 4 can drive, though Chase and Kyle are the best 2 of that group. And those 2 will also be future champs(I think both will win multiple titles IMO). Christ, that's a hell of a lineup. Rick really knows how to rebuild after losing Jimmie, Jeff, and Junior over the last 4 years. Great, young lineup of good(Bowman and Byron) to potentially borderline great(Chase and Larson) drivers.

That's why Hendrick is the Don.

Cars are on the grid with no covers.

NBC will resume coverage at 4:00 CT on NBCSN.

Air Titans called home.

Looks like we might really get a restart. I am so happy that I went to drags last weekend instead of TMS.

First TMS I'll have missed since the Fall race in 2009, gave it a shot Sunday and Monday but had to head to South LA Tuesday morning. Next year I'll just take the whole week of the All Star race and fall race off to be sure.
