Yeah see .197/.295/.248 in 125 career AB's against LHP

The $16 mil is according to Sportrac. They are usually accurate, but I guess you never know.

Ervin destroyed LHP last year, so it wouldn't be a terrible platoon situation out there.

Harris and Hudson would make sense

If I’m paying around $30M a year, I want to see more production and durability. Are the Reds still paying Bailey to pitch for other teams?

They are still paying Ken Griffey Jr I know that

Still paying Griffey like 3.5 million and Arroyo 1.4 million. Bailey not on payroll at all.

Twins may be finished picking up notable starters, that doesn’t mean the reigning AL Central champions are content to enter next season without adding at least one more established contributor to the roster. On the contrary, they’re still chasing the premier free agent available, Josh Donaldson, and have made the third baseman a four-year offer, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports (subscription link).

The Rangers are showing interest in veteran infielder Todd Frazier, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News. It seems the team would be amenable to a single-season pact; the potential price tag isn’t known.

Guess that would end any chances of Arenado.
I signed him in my Rangers save of OOTP and he sucked dick.

WTF? Personel services contract like Pujols?
Posted on 12/31/19 at 7:32 pm to CRDNLSCHMCPSN11
Plenty of teams are still paying former players.

But many of them are working for the team in some capacity. I didn’t know Griffey was doing anything for the Reds.

@jonmorosi: Sources: Nolan Arenado has roughly a 50/50 chance of being traded, with a half-dozen teams having checked in, as I just reported on @MLBNetwork. The #Dodgers are *not* the most likely destination, as #Rockies prefer not to trade Arenado in the division. @MLB

Arenado has a full no trade and an opt-out after 2021. It’s gotta really be a situation he wants to be in to waive the no-trade and then negotiate out the opt-out.
