Actual fans want to win and Donaldson can help with that. You should let it go. All that butt hurt creates a bias and clouds objectivity.
Travis Shaw makes a lot of sense in Texas on an incentive based deal as well. I'd explore sending Choo to San Diego for Myers plus cash and/or Hedges. I think they would entertain that.

Shaw or Franco would be some interesting cheap options

I’ve heard Travis Shaw mentioned. I wouldn’t be against that.
No thanks. We drafted two 3B with our two first round picks in the last draft. I’d be fine signing Rendon and basically only being able to use them as trade pieces, but I’m not willing to hold back those guys for Donaldson.
As a season ticket holder, id legitimately rather lose 100 games next year with no Donaldson than compete for the postseason with him. That’s how much I hate the guy.

Rendon signed with the Angels, clown

At the minimum, it will take 2-3 years for either to pan out... if they even pan out. Signing somone for 3-4 years does not mess with their timeline. It's the AL, there are plenty of ways to get guys at bats if they're forcing their way into a lineup. When Joey Gallo was drafted, who in their right mind saw him at a starting CF'er?
I get it as you made it pretty clear on your hate of Donaldson. There's really no point on furthering that conversation.

On this date in 1980, Dave Winfield signed a 10 year 16 million dollar contract. The largest in sports at the time.

Would love the rangers to trade for Andujar and sign Castellanos. Still need bullpen help too.

A lot of Yankees fans want LeClerc for Andujar

The "official" trade
quote:if Cleveland sent cash to offset Kluber's deal and that is all they received back I'm so going to laugh.
The Rangers have acquired two-time A.L. Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber and cash considerations from Cleveland for RHP Emmanuel Clase and OF Delino DeShields. Roster is at 39.

When you pull for a small market team, you get used to this shite. Indians can’t afford Kluber based on his injuries and production from last season.
Moving him and Bauer means they better sign Lindor to a huge deal.
Also, credit to Tito. He has this team consistently competing while holding things together with glue and tape.

Lindor/Ramirez isn't enough not even with Clevinger, Plesac, Bieber, and hopefully a healthy Carasco.
Do they have any other offense? Reyes in the OF, Carlos Santana at 1B
I love the stadium and the fans use to support that club but over the last 6 years they've ranked last or near last in attendance. They really don't deserve the run they've had.

There’s been frustrations with the owners for quite some time. They’re cheap.

They need someone to step up, simply put. Kipnis was trash the last couple of years, at least they trimmed that fat. Zimmer and Naquin didn’t pan out. Relying on guys like Jake Bauers won’t get it done.

Frustration with ownership when they've been players at the trade deadline, winning the division, and having some great players does not excuse ranking last in attendance.
They need a lot to step up offensively. The Twins are young and have talent.

Well they don't rank last in attendance.
Anyway. I hope the 45m in salary that's been cleared up in the past six months gets some offensive fire power

No sense arguing with a Yankee's fan when one pitcher makes a third of the Indians entire payroll
Posted on 12/15/19 at 2:59 pm to tduecen
If Cleveland is truly providing some cash relief, I’m surprised this is all they could get for Kluber.

Sorry you don't support your team
