Does the winner of the Main Event tip the dealers? I'm assuming they do but curious if there is some stipulation where the dealers are tipped beforehand from the buy-ins. If that even makes sense

I guess for that matter does everyone who gets into the money tip? If so I would be curious to know what percentage the dealers get

Dont know why it took him 27 minutes to call its not like his tournament was on the line. If he loses there he still has 14 big blinds. Sooner or later you going to have to gamble with these players you just cant wait for pocket aces every time. I can see him stalling for 2 minutes but that was ridiculous how long he waited to make that call. A-K suited thats pretty much a snap call. A-K off takes about 2 minutes to make that decision.

I think he took a little under 4 minutes. Mannion also told him he had all the time in the world, so if the other players give you that time I don’t have a problem with it.

I think he was concerned about the pay jump a little, which is fair. If he lost, he would have had around $7 million which is pretty much out.

It was the right call to make, and even though he took a little bit longer than I probably would have, I wouldn’t say it was completely ridiculous.

I was trying to find some info about the tipping and came across this gem...

quote:

Reminds me of the person that won MegaBucks ($21 million) at Caesar's several years ago. Put $10 in the machine, won on the first pull. First thing they asked the floor person was how to get the other $7 back. They knew right then no one was getting a tip from this bum.

I was all set to be cheering on Cynn tonight, but Miles broke out the #15, so here we are.

Are you sure it was only 4 minutes because it felt like it took him forever? I could of swore he had would of had about 14 million behind but i could be wrong.

This might be over soon.

Miles with a straight.

Cynn with a full house.

Are we talking about his call against Cada?

Maybe it was 5 minutes, but I'm almost positive he would have only had around 7 million left.

I'm surprised Miles didn't put more into the pot, but these guys are just so smart.

Just went back and looked. Took Miles right around 5:30, which is definitely longer than I remembered it being. He would have had right about 7 million if he lost. Cynn only had $38 million at the time.

Crazy to think of Dyer and Mannion having almost all the chips.

And holy crap this is insane.
