That's all fine and dandy, but do they realize that SLU owns Nicholls as of late? Like even when you're supposed to win (last season), you don't. The lions are like Bama while Nicholls is like LSU. It's like they can't win...

When you're stooping to trash-talking Nicholls, you know your program has hit rock bottom.

You do know that Nicholls has improved tremendously in the last two seasons.

Maybe the favorite to win, but Nicholls was having to squeak out games the last half of the season with everyone because Fourcade was banged up. Healthy Fourcade and that games not close.

UCA only has 3 returning starters on offense so that will be interesting. Conference seems a little wide open this year.

Doesn't mean anything. Baseball was picked pretty low this past year as well.
New coaching staff has the team looking much better and more energetic than they have in the last decade. Should be a much better Demon team

Same old song and dance. They said the same with Peveto and Thomas when they first got there. Laird was a safe hire, and I hope he does well. But the Demons will never be as successful as they could be as long as Burke is the AD.

Maybe but they are still 1-4 against the best FCS school in the state the past 5 seasons sooooo...
I like when the coaches poll sleeps on SLU, last time they did it we won conference. I'm cautiously optimistic about this season, and if Scelfo can have us in his first season, I will be ecstatic.
