Trotz gets rightly criticized as a tactician, but to his credit, he has made adjustments in both series which have paid huge dividends. Now, it's taken him too long to make those adjustments, but he does get credit for making them.
Honestly, he took a page from Rutherford's book and split up his three best player to make three scoring lines. The Pens had to use resources to defend the Caps' third line, which filtered up to the 1st line scoring more goals. Though I think Ovi is clearly playing hurt. He's got no jump in his step.

Would be awesome if we could. I imagine that they feel pretty confident they'll be able to get a deal in place pretty quickly.
That's going to be such a strong upgrade for us in the net. With Hitchcock coming back and a top tier goalie minding the net, the Stars could be dangerous next year.
