Admittedly a novice when it comes to hockey, but if you're the coach how do you handle this situation with your goalie? Do you pull him and have him go into game 7 with zero confidence? Do you pull him and hope to ride the back up in a game 7? Do you make him play the whole game showing you have confidence?

Pull him and get him ready for game 7...bad games happen..just unfortunate it was game 6 in the semis

Yeah that's what I was gonna guess. Pull him and tell him you still have confidence in him going into game 7 and that everyone has awful nights and not to focus on it

I can't answer that..these are professional players and I think the guy behind the bench knows his players and what is best for his team. I, not having coached one hockey game at any level, might pull and tell the player to enjoy the time off and go kick a$$ in the next one.

It'd be different if Gibson had a string of bad games and the backup played well..however both these goalies sucked arse tonight..they should just pull the goalie

They are getting hammered. This could leave a mark and they have more problems than just the goaltender. The whole of the defense is not sound.
